Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the LocalSnip browser extension and LocalSnip Pro licenses ("the Software"), provided by Zhang Qun ("we"). By installing or purchasing, you agree to them.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software. A LocalSnip Pro license key may be activated on up to 3 browser installations that you personally use. You may deactivate an installation in Settings to move the license.

2. Purchases

Pro is sold as a one-time purchase through our reseller and merchant of record, Creem, which handles payment, invoicing and applicable sales taxes. Creem's terms apply to the payment transaction.

3. Your data

Your snippets are stored locally in your browser and are your responsibility. The Software includes automatic local backups and export tools, but we cannot recover data deleted from your device (for example by uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data).

4. Acceptable use

Do not share, resell or publish license keys, or attempt to circumvent license checks. We may disable keys that are shared publicly or obtained fraudulently.

5. Updates and availability

We may update the Software. Pro features purchased remain available for the 1.x versions. Websites change frequently; we do not guarantee the Software works on every website or editor.

6. Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
